The importance of down time this Christmas

The importance of down time this Christmas

This silly season, if you find yourself a little over extended, with sore feet from all of that dancing and a clouded mind from all of that thinking, it may be time to take a break and enjoy a little down time.

These days we’re all so busy that we rarely take the time to stop, relax and reconnect with ourselves. Often just by taking a moment to reflect we can find incredible clarity and focus amongst the chaos of Christmas.

Epsom salts have been known for years to rest tired muscles and aide in recovery, withdrawing built up toxins and adding much needed magnesium to the body. Magnesium is also known to aide in a restful night’s sleep which is often needed when you’re feeling tired and wired after a busy week at work.

Our soaks are based on real epsom salts from naturally occurring geological deposits in Kasel, Germany - they are not synthetically created in a lab. The salts are then blended locally in the Yarra Valley with relaxing essential oils to create the ultimate bathing experience.

This Spring/Summer, we created the divine REFRESH blend that combines the uplifting elements of Mandarin, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang and Rose essential oils with Jasmine and Calendula petals + Epsom salts to revitalise body & mind, soak away impurities and stresses and reintroduce much-needed magnesium to the body.

We do hope you take the time to look after yourself this Christmas, so that you can enjoy this time of year, reflect on all of the things you are grateful for, spend the time appreciating the loved ones that surround you and focus on the things that matter.
